Attacking midfield: Kevin De Bruyne – David Silva is going to have to do a lot to get into this Man City team. Belgian star De Bruyne has the potential to be world-class and, truth be told, if he hadnt been injured earlier this year, its quite likely City would have won the Premier League title and not Leicester City. He should pick up a role behind the striker rather than out wide. 11 Centre-back: Vincent Kompany – The injury-prone captain will miss the start of the season but will be back, hopefully, in September or October. If he can remain fit, he could become a colossus under Guardiola and teach John Stones a thing or two. 11 Centre-back: John Stones – Pep Guardiola has already admitted hes keen on the ball-playing starlet. Now the Leroy Sane deal has gone through its likely the clubs attentions will go on completing a deal for the Everton man. 11 Central midfield: Ilkay Gundogan – Having witnessed his abilities first-hand in the Bundesliga, Guardiola has snaffled up the Borussia Dortmund star. He could be a big hit in the Premier League but wont be available for another four weeks due to a dislocated kneecap. 11 Central midfield: Fabian Delph – Already a keen student under Guardiola, the English midfielder isnt assured of a starting role but could sneak into the starting line up thanks to the fact hes left-footed. This means the midfield will be more balanced and more to Peps liking. 11 Central midfield: Fernandinho – Likely to remain a key component of Man Citys midfield, the versatile Brazil star has a bit of everything in his locker, which will no doubt delight Guardiola. He should be a starter. 11 Left-wing: Nolito – It seems like Raheem Sterling will need to wait for his chance under Guardiola. The Spaniard signed his compatriot from Celta Vigo and its likely he will start for the time being. 11 Goalkeeper: Joe Hart – Click the right arrow above to see how Manchester City could look once the season is in full swing… – He might have had a dodgy Euro 2016 with England but it seems, for the time being, he will be given a chance to prove himself at the Etihad. 11 11 11 Centre-back: Nicolas Otamendi – Just like most centre-backs at Man City, Otamendi didnt have a great start but hes very steadily improving. The Argentine is ahead of Eliaquim Mangala in the pecking order and may to begin excel now hes fully settled. 11 Manchester City have completed a deal to sign Schalke star Leroy Sane as they look to win back the Premier League title.By signing the German winger, Pep Guardiola strengthen his already impressive attacking options and it won’t be a surprise to see them challenging at the summit in the top-flight.The Spanish boss’ tactical versatility means we can expect plenty of variation in his team selection, which showed in a pre-season friendly as he set his side out in a 3-5-2 formation. So, with Sane signed and this formation clearly in Guardiola’s mind, we’ve taken a look at how his team could look once the season has started, all his players are fit, and the last transfers have been finalised.Click the right arrow above to see how Manchester City could line up… Right-wing: Leroy Sane – New boy Sane will likely depose Jesus Navas as Citys natural right-sided star, Kevin De Bruyne also featured here under Manuel Pellegrini but we reckon Guardiola has other plans for him. Striker: Sergio Aguero – This should come as no surprise to anyone. Mind you, Kelechi Iheanacho has a big future and will be pushing Aguero all the way for first-team football.
