Conte on his and Terry’s future, Barca being linked Blues trio, and not playing Mourinho’s mind games

Here is some of what the Italian had to say.Team news“Today, all my players are available for sure. Tomorrow and Sunday we have training sessions and I hope to have all my players in the best condition.“I have to decide the starting 11. I will try to make the best decision for the team because we want to go into the next round.”Could it be John Terry’s final FA Cup game at Stamford Bridge?Embed from Getty Images“I hope not. I don’t know about this. The player’s situation, my situation, every situation, I prefer to face at the end of the season when it will be the right time for everyone.“John is doing great work this season on and off the pitch. For me he is very important. He is the captain and giving me a lot in the changing room. He is an important player for us.”Conte’s own future“It is the same situation. I think now we must be focused on the present. The players and I must be focused on the present and when the right moment comes to face a situation you talk with the club. Now it’s important to be focused.”Not playing Mourinho’s mind gamesEmbed from Getty Images“The most important thing is (what happens on) the pitch – to prepare your team the right way, with the right organisation.“The important thing is to work to try to improve my players. These are the most important things for me and for any coach.“My players and I are focused on the game on the pitch, on the work and to try to improve every day.“The mind games? Don’t think you have to win the mind games. A person who is focused a lot on the pitch is one you can trust with his work.”Reports Barcelona are interested in Nemanja Matic, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos AlonsoEmbed from Getty Images“In this moment there is a lot of speculation about players and sometimes me.“We are doing a good job – my players and my staff. We are doing well and it’s important to continue in this way.“It’s normal for my players to be linked with other teams, but don’t forget that Chelsea is a great team in the same way Barcelona, Real Madrid and other teams are.”See also:Conte on Pedro, Morata, Wenger’s comments and Chelsea’s search for players Ads by Revcontent Trending Articles Urologists: Men, Forget the Blue Pill! Share Facebook Twitter Google + LinkedIn Pinterest A case of H3N2 Swine Flu has been lab confirmed in one hog at the Clinton County Fair. There are no human cases at this time. The Clinton County Fair Board is working with the Ohio Department of Agriculture, the Clinton County Agricultural Society along with local and state health officials to stop further spread of this virus in the animal population. By Friday morning, July 14, 2017, all swine will have been removed from the Clinton County Fairgrounds.“July 12, a pig at the Clinton County fair tested positive for H3N2, a zoonotic disease that can be transferred between animals and humans,” said Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) Spokesman Mark Bruce. “July 13th, additional animals in the barn showed clinical signs of illness and out of an abundance of caution to the general public and Ohio’s livestock population, ODA placed a quarantine on the hog barn. Only exhibitors and their parents were allowed into the building.”Swine Flu, like any flu virus can be spread, although rare, from pigs to people. Spread of swine flu viruses from pigs to people is thought to happen the same way that human flu viruses are spread, mainly through droplets when infected pigs cough or sneeze.“If you have been in contact with swine and are experiencing signs and symptoms of flu-like illness, please consult your medical provider,” said Dr. Terry Holten, Clinton County Health District Medical Director. “Especially if you are high risk which includes children under 5 years, those with long term health conditions, like asthma and other lung diseases, diabetes, heart disease, weakened immune systems, as well as pregnant women and people 65 years and older.”The Clinton County Fair remains open to the public. As with any pet or livestock contact, visitors should continue to wash their hands after petting animals and before eating. Sanitizing stations are available throughout the Clinton County Fairgrounds. The swine show was deemed a terminal show, meaning all animals will now be sent to a slaughter facility and not be allowed to return to their home farm, according to the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
IBM Global Technology Services forecasts explosive growth in worldwide storage requirements in a July 2006 white paper called “The Toxic Terabyte: How Data-Dumping Threatens Business Efficiency”. The document is an interesting read and has some statistics, some of which verge on being amazing. For example, the paper starts with the observation that in 2006, 26,000 million million transitors will be pumped out by electronics manufacturers worldwide, more they claim, than all the grains of rice grown on earth in 2006.The report attributes the explosive growth of storage to the proliferation of computer transitors and chips that operates on Moore’s Law. Basically there are more chips running, more data being processed, and more data being stored. The report goes on to report incredible numbers for how fast data will grow, although it doesn’t try to assign any weight to the importance to the kinds of data that’s being amassed. For example, billions of processors logging transaction statistics every millisecond might be creating massive amounts of uncompressed historical information, but that data may serve no real purpose. From the report:It is projected that just four years from now, the worlds information base will be doubling in size every 11 hours. So rapid is the growth in the global stock of digital data that the very vocabulary used to indicate quantities has had to expand to keep pace. A decade or two ago, professional computer users and managers worked in kilobytes and megabytes. Now schoolchildren have access to laptops with tens of gigabytes of storage, and network managers have to think in terms of the terabyte (1,000 gigabytes) and the petabyte (1,000 terabytes). Beyond those lie the exabyte, zettabyte and yottabyte, each a thousand times bigger than the last. The toxic side of having all of this data is that searching through all of it becomes ever more difficult. Even with today’s plummeting storage costs and shrinking physical size of storage units, the report suggests that some analysts are worried that ultimately we will have so much data that we won’t be able to afford or create enough storage devices to hold all of it.

Call it the Aldo Strategy: If he can get Mayweather feeling both confident and angry, there’s a chance Mayweather will let down his defense enough to attempt to finish McGregor in brute style — and maybe McGregor will have an opening.Mayweather hasn’t seemed interested in McGregor’s typical trash talk during the buildup to the fight, but perhaps he could waver the champion’s focus with the wrong word, an errant elbow or a rabbit punch behind the head — enough to draw a warning, but not lose a point.McGregor amplified his boasts this week, calling Mayweather “a broken man” and vowing to finish him within two rounds. Nobody knows whether McGregor actually believes his bluster, but the Irishman has defiantly vowed he will win. It’s not probable. But with McGregor, anything is possible. He throws hundreds of punches from every angle with the goal of setting up the vicious left hand that has turned out the lights on MMA opponents. And if none of that is successful, McGregor could bend the Marquess of Queensberry rules to their breaking point in hopes of goading Mayweather into a brawl.None of it is guaranteed to work. But it’s definitely worth a shot.Looking back at Mayweather’s history is a daunting task, given his 49-0 record, but it contains clues for tactics that could magnify McGregor’s chances. For instance, McGregor could amplify the strategy used by Marcos Maidana and Jose Luis Castillo. Both boxers pressed Mayweather constantly, using roughhouse tactics on the border of legality, and bombarded Mayweather with punches, many from unorthodox angles.Mayweather won both fights, but definitely looked uncomfortable for long stretches. McGregor doesn’t have the hand speed of those professional boxers, but he should strive to emulate their urgency. He should also attempt to show Mayweather things he’s never seen before in the ring, and his decision not to hire a boxing trainer for the bout might actually help in that regard. The UFC star should switch stances and try just about any punch, including the looping overhand shots rarely seen in high-level boxing matches because they’re easily countered, but common in MMA bouts because of the distance they create from the opponent. If McGregor gets hit, so be it. Every punch absorbed is the price for a chance to reply.McGregor believes Mayweather made a mistake by agreeing to fight in 8-ounce gloves instead of the typical 10-ounce pillows, but he shouldn’t rely solely on the unicorn one-punch knockout. While McGregor has definite power, only the biggest Mac homer would think it’s something Mayweather hasn’t seen from boxers — and Mayweather has shown a solid chin and excellent recovery skills on the few occasions he has been hit.Instead, the key is to use that energy to get in a good position to unload the left hand or a combination through Mayweather’s shifty defense. McGregor could repeatedly tie up Mayweather and attempt to land shots in the clinch.
